I just realized that the little ico for me being sick is a little guy puking. For some reason, that really amuses me!

Anyway, I bought some sexy undies yesterday and I want to go out someplace where I can show them off! Anyone up for a game of stip poker? Or strip gin? Mmmm...I like gin.

Did pool on Thursday night with Mark and Karla. It takes 1 hour, 25 minutes to get from my house to the Riverside train station. I fucking hate the green line. Oh, and I won twice! Go me!

And Kristin's gone for the week - I was really serious about the strip poker. And I'll make dinner one night if people want to come over!!!!

Went to the Cheesecake Factory with Julie tonight to exchange pressies and eat and catch up and stuff.

She got me an awesome clock and made me some pyjama pants (rock on!) She's also going to make me a green skirt and a corset!! Well, it's exciting to me =)

Of course, I'm still sick - can't breathe for nothing - it really aggravates me. I woke up at 3:00 am this morning when my Nyquil wore off...but I thought it was 8am and I was late for work. I was wrong, though and it sucked because I couldn't get back to sleep =( Hopefully, I'll be as good as new by the weekend!

Anyway, time to take my daily Nyquil dose and try to get some sleep =)

First day of work! Jan. 3rd, 2005 @ 10:24 pm
So, I started working at UMass Boston's bookstore today. My dad rocks because nepotism is the shit and he got me the job. I'm going to be cashiering there through Spring rush (first week in February). Not like I've never cashiered before or anything, so I'm not too worried about it. I was ringing things up within 3 hours of starting - it's pretty cake. I think the scariest part of the day was riding the train to Ashmont in the dark =)

Let's see, what else can I talk about? Ahh! New Year's Eve...it was...interesting! Starting with being picked up by JP, Steve, and Andrew to having a blast in the hot tub to the quick breakfast before Emily drove us all to Randolph - it was good times. Things I learned: Guys shouldn't go in the hot tub with tan/beige/white boxers on, it gets kinda warm under that red comforter, and the music from Finding Nemo makes an interesting (if repetetive) backdrop for other activities.

Now, I have finally gotten a response to my New Years invite that I extended to a certain...Dr. M (as he's been known to refer to himself). And I haven't heard/gotten over the supposed awkwardness of Saturday morning. (I wasn't feeling awkward - should I have been?)

Yup! First post - will have an update of the first day of work later and a re-cap of the New Year's festivities! ANyway - mucho nervous about the first day of work - only a 6 hour day, but I'm not 100% how to get there and I've never met any of the people there or been to the store - wish me luck, I'll need it!
